Shipping Policy

Processing time

Orders are processed and dispatched within 1-2 business days of purchase, excluding weekends and public holidays.

Delivery times

We provide Express and Economy delivery options, and delivery times depend on the order's destination:

For orders within the EU:

  • Express delivery: 1-3 days
  • Economy delivery: 3-5 days

For orders outside the EU:

  • Express delivery: 3-4 days
  • Economy delivery: 5-6 days

These are estimates from the date of dispatch, not the date of order, and can vary due to customs processing, local courier conditions, or events outside our control.

Where we ship

We ship to selected countries across Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific, with rates calculated automatically at checkout based on your destination country and chosen delivery speed (Express or Economy).

Carriers

We ship using leading international couriers, including DHL, FedEx and UPS.

Taxes & Duties

Orders within the European Union

  • Import taxes & duties: There are no import taxes or delivery duties for orders shipped across EU borders.
  • Local same-country exception: If the warehouse origin and the delivery address are in the same EU country (for example, shipping from Italy to Italy), local taxes are mandatory under EU law and are charged at checkout.
  • VAT on orders: VAT applies to orders and can be avoided if you provide a valid VAT number.

Orders outside the European Union

  • Taxes at checkout: Umar Cheema does not charge taxes or VAT at checkout for shipments going outside the EU.
  • Import fees & duties: Local import duties, customs fees and regional taxes are generally collected by the shipping carrier upon arrival.

United States customs & DDP fees

Following changes removing the de minimis exception, all shipments to the United States are subject to mandatory customs processing. If you choose the Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) service at checkout, the following standard fees apply:

  • Disbursement fee: €4.50 or 2% of the order value (whichever is greater).
  • Duty & tax forwarding fee: €8.50 for orders under €800, or €27 (or 2% of the order value) for orders over €800.
  • Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF): €2.63 per shipment.
  • U.S. tariff (Most Favored Nation): 15% of the declared value.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and vary by destination and delivery speed. Once your order has shipped, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Lost or delayed shipments

If your order hasn't arrived within the estimated delivery window, please contact us at admin@umarcheema.com and we'll help track it down. For orders that are confirmed lost in transit, see our missing-package process in the Return & Refund Policy.
